Food is DELICIOUS! You have to try the Garlic Puffs and Cheese Boats. I really enjoyed the Avocado Boat. I can’t wait to go back to try a pizza!
The flavor combos where amazing! A must try. Amazing service too (even though it was busy). I only gave 4 stars on atmosphere because there were several crying children in what I would consider to be the "bar section" of the restaurant (out of three distinct sections, the middle of the restaurant was empty and everyone back loaded near the bar). But maybe if you have kids that's a plus? And also, can't hate TangleTown for trying to make some cash. Great experience otherwise.
It's a restaurant with a great atmosphere, the owner is very kind and the food is delicious, the drinks in the bar are the best.
Food and beer were super tasty! Live music started while we were here which was awesome. 2 big groups came in just before us so we had to wait awhile for our food, but our waiter comped us our first round of drinks for it! Awesome service.
Love coming to this local spot for great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Best items on the menu in my opinion are the wings, coconut shrimp, burger, and marg pizza..
The holy grail of pubs is the spot where friendly strangers chat at an L-shaped bar, with high quality complex cocktails and delicious food. Here it is!! We stumbled on this place while househunting, and being here made us yearn for this neighborhood. Must have: garlic puffs. I have no deficits to report. A Editing to add more. Now we have been here lots! Ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Chicken was a little over-fried (dark). Pickles and caramelized onions and dressing made it juicy and tangy. It’s also massive, so way more than one person could eat.
I love the staff at Tangletown... Everyone is so friendly when I come in. Very welcoming, no matter how busy it is. Great selections on tap and a big assortment of spirits. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but the food generally is really good. Finally tried the Goddess Goat salad on my last stop...I loved it. It has perfectly dressed arugula with herbed goat cheese. I added chicken, which you can have grilled or fried. They do a great fried chicken sandwich also! The only caveat is parking... It's tough to park in this area and always has been.
Delicious food and really cool spot right next to green lake. The cheese boat and the Korean flavored Chilean wings are amazing! The pizza is great too. Come check it out!
